Samsung just announced two new smartwatches internationally earlier today – the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro. Oppo announced two new wearables over in China as well.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable platform was made official back in July, and the Oppo Watch 3 and Oppo Watch 3 Pro are the first smartwatches to use it.

Oppo Watch 3:

The Oppo Watch 3 has a 1.75″ 372×430 AMOLED screen with 3D glass on top., Powered by a 400mAh battery, the smartwatch has 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, eSIM, NFC, 5ATM water resistance, GPS/Beidou/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS support.
 In cases where little computational power is required, Oppo’s Apollo 4 Plus coprocessor is used instead of the Snapdragon. Based on these specs, you can expect a battery life of four days with full usage (or three days with LTE). You can also get ten days in a light mode. Feather Gold and Platinum Black will be the colours available for the Watch 3. Without a strap, it weighs 31.9g.

Oppo Watch 3 Pro:

The Oppo Watch 3 Pro features a bigger, 1.91″ 378×496 LTPO AMOLED screen, a first for a wearable. With a battery capacity of 550 mAh, it can last five days on full power (four with LTE) and 15 days on light mode. The battery can be charged in 65 minutes. Watch 3 Pro will be available in Platinum Black and Desert Brown. It weighs 37.5g without a strap.

As for the rest of the specs, there are 100 workout modes, 150 watch faces, an accelerometer, gyroscope. It also geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate monitor, blood oxygen sensor, ECG sensor, ambient light sensor, and air pressure sensor.

Pricing:

The Oppo Watch 3 costs 1499 Yuan (Rs.17,700/-) and Oppo Watch 3 Pro at 1899 Yuan (Rs.22,400/-) in China. It will go on sale from Aug 29 in China.
