On Wednesday, September 7, Apple will hold its next event at its Apple Park campus. In addition to being live streamed on YouTube and the company’s website, the event will start at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

As this is the September event, the focus will be on new iPhone models. Apple has introduced a plus-sized iPhone 14 Plus/Max this year with essentially the same dimensions as the iPhone 14 Pro Max but with the same feature set. The iPhone mini will be replaced by this model.

A pill-shaped cutout will replace the current notch on the new iPhones. Although the notch was reduced in size last year, it remains relatively large and may be the largest on any production phone today. As a result of the new pill-shaped design, the visual mass is reduced while the Face ID sensors are still present.

An always-on display is also expected to be available on the iPhone Pro this year. Pro models are also expected to have the next-generation A16 processor, while standard models will retain the A14. On the Pro models, the camera will also go up to 48 megapixels. As for the new front camera, it will autofocus on all models.

The next-generation Apple Watch Series 8 will be unveiled alongside the new iPhones. There will be a standard and a pro version, with the latter featuring a larger display, rugged titanium body, and shatter-proof glass. Additionally, a body temperature sensor is rumoured for the Pro model.
A new iPad Pro model may also be announced during Apple’s October event alongside any updates to the Mac.
