Samsung is all set to launch the next set of A-series smartphones in India with Galaxy A73 5G & Galaxy A33 5G. After the launch of Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A23 & Galaxy A13 last week in India. Now we have a new launch event that has been scheduled by Samsung in India.
As per the teaser, Samsung will introduce the new Galaxy A series in India and has scheduled an offline event on March 29 i.e today. Samsung has not confirmed the devices launching at the event but we think it could be the new Galaxy A73 5G & Galaxy A33 5G. More details will be out later today.
Samsung Galaxy A33:
The new Galaxy A33 5G will come with a known design and looks almost similar to the Galaxy A53 5G. Yes, the Galaxy A33 5G will come with the same waterdrop notch at the front with thicker bezels surrounding the display. In a similar fashion to the newly leaked Galaxy A33 5G, the Galaxy A33’s back cameras are arranged in a raised camera bump.
In addition to the power button and volume rocker, the Galaxy A33 5G sports a USB-C port at the bottom. To listen to music, you’ll need to use USB-C or Bluetooth earphones. The SIM Card slot is placed on the left. It measures 8.1mm thick with a camera bump of 10.3mm thick. The device weighs 186g.
Samsung is all set to launch the affordable Galaxy A33 5G too along with the above two. The new Galaxy A33 5G will sport 6.4 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It is powered by Exynos 1280 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage space.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G will feature quad-rear cameras with LED flash. The device will come with a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture & OIS coupled with 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture. Along with dual 2MP depth plus 5MP macro sensor with f/2.2 & f/2.4 aperture & LED flash. There is a 13MP selfie shooter under the waterdrop notch.
The device will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charge support. It runs on Android 12 OS with One UI 4 on top. No word about the front or rear cameras at the moment. The Galaxy A33 5G will arrive in Black, Blue, Peach, and White colors. It will cost 369 Euros (Rs.31,000/-) for 6GB+128GB in Europe.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G:
The Galaxy A73 5G is nothing but the previously launched Galaxy A52s 5G with slightly different internals. Yes, the Galaxy A73 5G looks similar to Galaxy A53 5G with a center punch-hole display and quad-cameras on the back. The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G comes in Awesome Mint, Awesome White, Awesome Black colors. It measures 7.6mm thick and weighs 181g.
The Galaxy A73 5G sports the same 6.7 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner support& Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Galaxy A73 5G gets a powerful SD778G SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and a 128GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.
The new Galaxy A73 5G will feature quad-rear cameras with a 108MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and dual 5MP depth plus macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Galaxy A73 5G will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery but comes with 25W fast charge support. Galaxy A73 5G also gets an IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.
The phone will receive OS updates for three years and security updates for four years.
