OnePlus has for some time been working on a tablet, which is called the OnePlus Pad. At the moment, no other details are known about the tablet, but we suspect it will have top-of-the-line hardware.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, 91mobiles exclusively learned that the OnePlus Pad will come with Android 12L OS that was specifically designed for tablets and foldable phones. Instead of being stretched out like the Android OS is now, the UI will fit the large aspect ratio.
As of now, Yogesh has not given an indication of when the tablet will be available. According to previous leaks, the OnePlus Pad will arrive in India by the first half of 2022, which means we can expect an announcement within the next few weeks. A model will also be available for India, according to the company. The OnePlus Pad moniker had been trademarked by the brand in July 2021. All these new developments point to the tablet’s imminent release.
Separately, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to release soon, with key specs shared. As with the Nord CE 2 5G, it is said to come with a 3.5mm audio jack, but not an alert slider.
