POCO F3 GT

POCO is back with a bang in India after a long break. Now we have various leaks revealing details about the upcoming POCO X4 & POCO X4 Pro 5G. Apart from that, the brand is also planning to launch premium gaming flagship in India soon. Yes, the successor to POCO F3 GT with POCO F4 GT.

In the past, we got various leaks revealing the POCO F4 GT will land in India by the first half of 2022. Now we have got a massive leak that confirms previous leaks about the POCO F4 GT. As per the source, the Indian variant of the POCO F4 GT will be rebranded version of the newly launched Redmi K50G. Yes, the POCO F4 GT Indian variant will have the same specs as the Chinese launched Redmi K50G.

As of now, we are still not sure about the exact launch details but the company will first launch the POCO X4 series in the country next. More details about the new POCO F4 GT will be out in the coming weeks.

Design:

The new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition aka Redmi K50G features triple rear cameras under the rectangular module. The module also gets zig-zag shaped notification LED surrounding the camera module. Further, there are also gaming triggers placed on the shoulders. Redmi K50G also mentions the words “Freezing” and “Speediest” written on the left and right sides.

Sadly, no word about the Redmi K50 or Redmi K50 Pro at the moment. The Redmi K50G will also have a custom edition too. Xiaomi also launches a premium Redmi K50G Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team Edition along with the base variant.

This Edition will look exactly similar to Redmi K50G but comes with a Gray color with a textured back. It will come with iconic Mercedes F1 cars color scheme. It comes with Grey colored back panel with Black triangular designs. These two triangles come with a Cyan color and an RGB strip. It measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 210g. It comes in three colors black, blue, and silver.

Specs:

The Redmi K50G sport the new Samsung E5 AMOLED 6.67 inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top, HDR 10+ & 10-bit support. Redmi K50G is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage version.

The new Redmi K50G features triple-rear cameras with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.65,  8MP 120-degrees Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 2MP telemacro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 960fps. The Redmi K50G comes with single selfie cameras with a 20MP sensor.

The new Redmi K50 will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with an IR blaster. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6e, Dual Frequency GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, JBL Audio quality certification, USB Type-C port, & Bluetooth 5.2 support. The Redmi K50G also features a Symmetrical four-unit wideband speakers along with Smart PA & Dolby Atmos support.

The Redmi K50G packs a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The new Redmi K50G runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. The Redmi K50G cost 3299 Yuan (Rs.39,000/-) for 8GB+128GB, 12GB+128GB at 3599 Yuan (Rs.42,700/-) & 12GB+256GB at 3899 Yuan (Rs.46,200/-) in China. The Redmi K50G Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team Edition costs 4199 Yuan (Rs.49,700/-) for 12GB+256GB. It will go on sale from Feb 18 in China.
