We now have got the detailed specs sheet of the 2022 iPhone aka the new iPhone 14 series leaked by the reliable tipster. Yes, the popular Industry Insider Ross has shared the new leak revealing almost everything about the new iPhone 14 series.
As per the source, the new iPhone 14 series will again include four models with iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the new iPhone 14 Max. Yes, the Max and not the Mini this time as we all know bad sales figures made Apple ditch the compact flagship. Anyway, let us start with the specs of the new iPhone 14 series.
Display:
The new iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Pro will come with almost identical specs. Both the iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Pro will now sport a 6.06 inches 2532*1170p resolution Flexible OLED display. Do note that the base variant will come with LTPS with a 60Hz refresh rate whereas the Pro variant with LTPO AMOLED with a 120Hz refres rate display.
Further, the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will sport larger 6.68 inches 2778*1284p resolution OLED panel. The iPhone 14 Max features a flexible OLED LTPS panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The Pro Max comes with a top-end LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Max will come with a notch probably which is not yet confirmed but will retain the Face ID/Touch ID support. The iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max will come with punch-hole or under-display Face ID/Touch ID support. All of them will use displays from Samsung, LG, & BOE displays.
Cameras:
The new iPhone 14 will feature dual rear cameras with LED flash. The remaining models with iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 Max will ship with triple rear cameras.
Connectivity:
All the iPhone 14 models will come with 5G support with Sub-6 GHz mmWave band. Not just that all four models will also pack huge batteries this time. Sadly, the battery capacity is not mentioned at the moment.
Design & Processor:
As we saw the first look of the iPhone 14 Pro model will come with a Titanium frame. Not just that we also got to know that it will again carry the glass back design. The tipster shared that iPhone 14 series might ship with 2.5D Ceramic Sheild Glass on top.
Lastly, the new iPhone 14 series will be indeed powered by the latest Apple A16 SoC which is built on a 4nm process.
