Google is about to introduce the next flagship smartphone for this year with the new Pixel 6 series. In the past, we saw enough amount of leaks popping up right from renders to specs of the new Pixel 6 series. We also got a leak revealing that the high-end Pixel 6 series model will be named Pixel 6 Pro.

Now we have got an official leak that hints Pixel 6 Pro will now be called simply Pixel 6 XL. As per the source, they have spotted the mention of Pixel 6 XL on the documentation uploaded by Google for the new Game mode API. The documentation confirmed that the Pixel 6 series will include two models with Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 XL.

Further, we got other leaks that hint a major camera features going to arrive with the flagship Pixel 6 XL. The latest Android 12 Beta 3 updates revealed that the upcoming Pixel 6 series will come with a telephoto lens. Now the latest Google Camera app with version 8.2.400 mentions the term 5x ultra-tele zoom option.

While checking the models we don’t see any Pixel phone launched in the past that had a 5x telephoto lens sensor. So we can claim that the upcoming flagship Pixel 6 XL might feature the new 5x ultra tele zoom. More details will be out in the coming weeks.
