Xiaomi Mega Event is here and has brought not one or two or three but four to five new devices under the Mi 11 series. Yes, Xiaomi announced the premium flagship Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro along with budget Mi 11i for global markets. Xiaomi also launched the premium mid-range phone aka Mi 11 Lite too which will come in two variants with 4G and 5G.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro:
The D-Day is here for the Xiaomi Mega Event which will start by end of the day. The Mi 11 Ultra will indeed look similar to previous leaks. Yes, the Mi 11 Ultra will indeed sport a curved punch-hole display on the front. On the back, the Mi 11 Ultra will come with a huge camera bump carrying three sensors along with a secondary screen. The only difference between the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro is the missing the secondary screen on the Pro. So it looks exactly similar to Mi 11.
The Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro will sport 6.81 inches QHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED quad curved display. It also gets a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 480Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. Both the devices are powered by SD888 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
MI 11 Ultra features triple rear cameras with Samsung GN2 50MP main sensor 1/1.2 inches having an aperture of f/1.8. It also gets SONY IMX586 48MP ultra-wide sensor with OIS along with a Sony IMX586 telephoto sensor with 5X zoom and 120X digital zoom with OIS support. It also gets Dual color temperature LED flash, Laser AF and secondary display.
The MI 11 Pro features triple rear cameras with Samsung GN2 50MP main sensor 1/1.2 inches having an aperture of f/1.8. It also gets Omnivision 13MP ultra-wide sensor with OIS along with an Omninivision OV08A10 telephoto sensor with 5X zoom and 50X digital zoom with OIS support. It also gets Dual color temperature LED flash, Laser AF.
There is a 20MP selfie shooter on both devices. The purpose of the secondary display on Mi 11 Ultra is for Always-on display, Notification from apps, and also acts as a viewfinder while taking pics from rear cameras. Both the devices also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, X-Axis motor along with Harmon Kardon stereo speakers.
Mi 11 Ultra and Pro become the first Xiaomi device to ship with IP68 dust and water-resistant. Mi 11 Ultra measures 8.8 mm thick and 225g in weight whereas the Mi 11 Pro measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 210g.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port. Both runs on Android 11 with the latest MIUI 12.5 on top. Both devices pack a massive 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast wired/wireless charging support.
The premium Mi 11 Ultra will set you back at price of 5599 Yuan (Rs.62000/-) for 8GB+256GB, 5999 Yuan (Rs.66,800/-) for 12GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB at 6999 Yuan (Rs.77,600/-) in China. For European markets, the Mi 11 Ultra comes with 12GB+256GB at whopping 1200 Euros (Rs.1,02,500/-).
The Mi 11 Pro with 8GB+256GB cost 4999 Yuan (Rs.55,400/-) and 12GB+256GB at 5399 Yuan(Rs.59900/-) in China. Mi 11 Pro will be exclusive to China and will not make its way to global markets.
Xiaomi Mi 11i:
Xiaomi Mi 11i comes with an almost similar design as the Redmi K40 Pro+ and is rebranding the same. The new Mi 11i comes with a 3D curved frosted glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both the device measures 7.8 mm thick and weighs 196 grams.
The Mi 11i sport the new Samsung E4 AMOLED 6.67 inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and HDR 10 support. It is powered by the new SD888G SoC. The device comes with 12GB RAM and a 256GB storage version with a microSD card slot.
The new Mi 11i features triple-rear cameras with a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.89, OIS support, 8MP 120-degrees Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 5MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 960fps. The Mi 11i comes with single selfie cameras with a 32MP sensor.
The new Mi 11i will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner along with an IR blaster. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6e, Dual Frequency GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, & Bluetooth 5.2 support. It also features a 1217 Linear Speaker along with Smart PA & Dolby Atmos support.
The Xiaomi Mi 11i packs a 4520 mAh battery with 33W (5G) fast charging support. The new Redmi K40 Pro+ runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. The new Mi 11i will arrive in Celestial Blue, Frosty White & Cosmic Black colors. Mi 11i cost 649 Euros (Rs.55,600/-) for 8GB+128GB & 8GB+256GB at 699 Euros (Rs.59,950/-) in Europe.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G/5G:
The new Mi 11 Lite 4G/5G will again look similar to Mi 11 in terms of design but ships with a flat display. It sports 6.55 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rates. It gets in-display fingerprint scanner support.
The new Mi 11 Lite 4G is powered by SD732G SoC whereas the Mi 11 Lite 5G with world’s first SD780G coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The Mi 11 Lite 4G/5G will feature a 64MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telemacro shooter with LED flash. There is a 20MP selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole. It is super slim at just 6 mm thick and weighs 150g.
The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Dual SIM, MicroSD slot, No 3.5mm jack. The remaining option includes Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite comes with a 4250 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Mi 11 Lite 4G will arrive in Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue, and Peach Pink. The 5G model will be available in the colors Truffle Black, Citrus Yellow, and Mint Green colors.
The Mi 11 Lite 4G will cost 299 Euros (Rs.25,600/-)for 6GB+64GB and 128GB at 329 Euros (Rs.28,300/-). The Mi 11 Lite 5G will cost 369Euros (Rs.31,600/-) for 6GB+128GB.
