With Samsung delaying the launch of the much-awaited Galaxy Z Fold3 this year we have Huawei foldable ready to launch. Yes, Huawei is all set to launch the next foldable phone with Huawei Mate X2 next.
Now Huawei has officially revealed the launch date of the new Huawei Mate X2 in China. The new foldable aka Huawei Mate X2 is all set to make its debut on Feb 22 in China. Sadly, the device might not launch in India anytime soon. Further, we even got the first render showing the new Huawei Mate X2 in full glory.
As per the image, the new Huawei Mate X2 looks almost similar to Samsung foldable Galaxy Z Fold2 in terms of design. But comes with slight changes as the Huawei Mate X2 features dual selfie cameras on the outer display and no cameras on the inner. The device will sport 8.01 inches larger display when unfolded. The Huawei Mate X2 features a 16MP dual selfie camera.
Lastly, Huawei CEO Richard Yu has shared that the new Huawei Mate X2 will be using the latest Kirin 9000 SoC. Previous leaks revealed that Huawei Mate X2 will ship with four rear cameras with 50 + 16 + 12 + 8 MP. It is likely to sport 6.45 inches outer display with a resolution of 160 x 2,700p.
