Huawei’s Mate XTs represents the tech giant’s follow-up in the tri-fold smartphone arena, delivering a handful of subtle tweaks beyond its forerunner. Aesthetics-wise, it mirrors last year’s edition down to the details, except for the standout addition of fresh purple and white finishes that set this version apart.
Huawei Mate XTs:
Boasting an expansive 10.2-inch foldable LTPO OLED screen, the Huawei Mate XTs delivers stunning 3K visuals paired with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It’s 16:11 aspect ratio cleverly supports running as many as three standard smartphone apps simultaneously in a split-view setup, and the display cranks up to an impressive 1,800 nits for peak brightness under bright conditions.
Just like its earlier counterpart, it keeps the handy stylus compatibility intact. When partially folded into dual-screen mode, the setup measures 7.9 inches, dropping down to a compact 6.4 inches in full fold for easier single-hand use. Remarkably lightweight at 298 grams, it stays ultra-thin too—measuring a mere 3.8mm when completely open and 12.8mm in its folded state.
On the imaging front, Huawei has bumped up the ultrawide camera to a sharper 40MP sensor with a 13mm focal length. This teams up with the familiar 50MP primary camera (24mm) featuring an adjustable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0, plus the returning 12MP periscope unit (125mm) for zoomed-in shots.
Powering everything is the fresh Kirin 9020 processor, which steps in for the previous Kirin 9010 and matches the silicon found in the Pura 80 Pro+ and Ultra models—delivering a claimed 36% boost in overall speed. Every Mate XTs variant packs 16GB of RAM and offers storage options reaching up to 1TB.
It ships with HarmonyOS 5.1 for a seamless user interface, backed by a generous 5,600mAh battery that supports rapid 66W wired charging, 50W wireless top-ups, and 7.5W reverse wireless power sharing.
