Vivo is back with another smartphone launch after the success of the X60 series. Yes, the company is now planning to launch the first S-series smartphone in China with the new Vivo S9. The Vivo S9 is the direct successor to last year’s Vivo S7 which was launched in India as Vivo V20 Pro 5G. Now we have new leaks that revealed the first look along with key specs of the new Vivo S9.
As per the source, Vivo has already started teasing for the upcoming flagship Vivo S9 under the offline markets in China. The tipster confirmed that Vivo S9 will be the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC which will go official later this month.
Further, the Vivo S9 will also feature a 44MP selfie sensor similar to the previous-gen. The device will come with a similar design as the Vivo S7 with triple rear cameras along with LED flash. The source confirmed that Vivo S9 will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a wide notch carrying dual-selfie cameras. It comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and runs on Android 11 OS. Lastly, the source also mentions the March launch for the new Vivo S9.
