Xiaomi has yet again introduced another Redmi 9 series smartphone in India today. Yes, the new Redmi 9i which is sort of rebranded Redmi 9A. The new Redmi 9i will arrive in three colours with Midnight Black, Sea Blue and Nature Green. The new Redmi 9i will go on sale from Sept 18 through Mi.com, Flipkart and all leading Mi Home across India.
The new Redmi 9i with 4GB+64GB cost Rs.8,299/- and the top-end 4GB+128GB comes at a price tag of Rs.9,299/- in India.
Design & Display:
The new Redmi 9i look identical to predecessor from the front & back with waterfall display. The Redmi 9i comes with a polycarbonate back, measures 9.0 mm thick and weighs around 194g. Redmi 9A sports 6.53 inches HD+ IPS LCD dot drop screen.
The Redmi 9i is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 which is the latest budget gaming chipset. The Redmi 9i comes with 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB storage with dedicated microSD card slot.
The Redmi 9i features 13MP f/2.2 single rear camera with LED flash. On the front, the Redmi 9i features 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
Connectivity & Battery:
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack. The Redmi 9C features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Redmi 9i packs 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging and runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.
