Looks like we have got another leak revealing the specs of the upcoming premium flagship from Huawei with Mate 40 series. Previously we got some odd leak revealing the detailed specs along with pricing info of the Huawei Mate 40 & Huawei Mate 40 Pro. Now we have some new set of leaks revealed by popular tipster for the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 series.
Previously we saw 3D CAD renders showing the new Huawei Mate 40 series in full glory. This time the Huawei Mate 40 & Huawei Mate 40 Pro will use pill-shaped punch-hole waterfall display when compared with previous-gen notched.
As per the tweet, the alleged Huawei Mate 40 will sport 6.67 inches LG made OLED 3D curved display with 90Hz refresh rates whereas the Huawei Mate 40 Pro with waterfall display made by LG or BOE with 90 Hz refresh rates. Do note that Huawei Mate 40 is codenamed as Oceana and Huawei Mate 40 Pro as Noah.
The new Huawei Mate 40 features triple-rear cameras with 50MP main sensor, 20MP ultra-wide, 8MP telephoto with Laser AF system. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with new 50MP main Liquid Lens tech coupled with whopping 80MP Ultra-wide sensor, unknown periscopic sensor and ToF with LED flash. Both the devices get pill-shaped notch with 3D Face ID support.
The new Huawei Mate 40 & Huawei Mate 40 Pro is powered by latest Kirin 9000 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage variants. All this is packed by 4300 mAh, 4600 mAh and 5000 mAH battery on the Huawei Mate 40 series. We expect that the 5000 mAh battery will be for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+.
Lastly, the same source also revealed the pricing details of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. The Huawei Mate 40 with 128GB storage cost 5999 Yuan (Rs.64,700/-), 256GB at 6499 Yuan (Rs.70,000/-) and 512GB at 7399 Yuan (Rs.79,800/-) in China.
