Honor 30 series

After a series of leaks, Honor officially launched the new Honor 30 series which now includes not two but three new devices. Yes, the new Honor 30 series will come in three models with Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+. The new Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ will arrive in Midnight Black, Green, Titanium Silver and Neon Purple colours. All the three devices will go on sale from April 21 and currently under pre-orders.

Honor 30 series

The new Honor 30 with 6GB+128GB cost 2999 Yuan (Rs.32,500/-), 8GB+128GB at 3199 Yuan (Rs.34,600/-) and 8GB+256GB at 3499 Yuan (Rs.37,900/-). The Honor 30 Pro with 8GB+128GB at 3999 Yuan (Rs.43,250/-) and 8GB+256GB at 4399 Yuan (Rs.47,600/-). The new Honor 30 Pro+ with 8GB+256GB at 4999 Yuan (Rs.54,200/-) and 12GB+25GB at 5499 Yuan (Rs.59,500/-) in China.

Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+:

This year Honor announced three devices which included extra flagship Honor 30 Pro+. Anyway, both the Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+comes with identical specs but differ in terms of camera. The new Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ looks identical in terms of design and features a glossy glass back with metal edges. The duo also features VC liquid cooling system and dual stereo speakers.

The Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ measures 8.63 mm thick and weighs around 186g. The new Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ sport 6.57 inches FHD+ OLED 90Hz refresh rate (Pro+ only) waterfall display. It features Galaxy S10+ like dual punch-hole notch. The new Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ are powered by Kirin 990 5G SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It also features expandable memory slot by using NM card.

The new Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ comes with triple rear cameras with LED flash. Honor 30 Pro features 40MP main Sony IMX600 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 16MP ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/2.2, 8MP telephoto lens with f/3.4 aperture, 5X optical zoom, 10X hybrid and 50X digital zoom and OIS support with LED flash. The Honor 30 Pro+ comes with 50MP Sony IMX700 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and RYYB of 1.22μm with 2.5cm macro sensor and remaining all other sensors are the same as the Honor 30 Pro.

Both the devices do come with 4K 60fps, 1920fps super slow-motion 720p, 960fps 1080p slow-motion video capture. The Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ features 32MP main selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and 8MP ultra-wide selfie sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It does arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner. For the first time both the devices do get IP54 rating making dust and water-resistant.

The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, USB Type-C port, Dual Frequency GPS, and NavIC. The new Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ packs 4000 mAh battery with 40W wired fast charging support and additional 27W wireless fast charging on Pro+. The new Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1 on top.

Honor also unveiled the cheapest Honor 30 along with the Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+. The new Honor 30 also looks similar to Honor 30 Pro & Honor 30 Pro+ and comes with downgraded specs. The new Honor 30 also features metal chassis and glossy glass back. The Honor 30 weighs around 185g and measures 8.1 mm thick.

The new Honor 30 sports 6.53 inches FHD+ OLED 70° curved screen with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The new Honor 30 becomes the first smartphone powered by Kirin 985 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It also features expandable memory slot by using NM card.

Honor 30 features 40MP main Sony IMX600 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 8MP ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 8MP telephoto lens with f/3.4 aperture, 5X optical zoom, 10X hybrid and 50X digital zoom and OIS support along with 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. It features 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
