Seems like there is no end to leaks and rumours about the Xiaomi popular brand POCO. Previously POCO GM confirmed about their plans to launch more devices this year along with POCO F2. Now one of the tipsters has just solved the major puzzle which POCO teased on their Twitter page.
As per the source, POCO has started teasing about their comeback in the Indian market with a unique riddle which reveals the name of the upcoming smartphone. Yes, as per the screenshot we can see the POCO letter being scattered between the company official along with two more letters with X2 on the right.
So this indirectly confirms the upcoming smartphone from POCO will be called the POCO X2. Further, the source confirmed that the POCO X2 will be a mid-range smartphone and not the flagship with SD7xx series chipset. Anyway, we have to wait for the official confirmation for the same in the coming weeks.
Further, the same source has now got some more details about the POCO X2. As per the source, the POCO X2 turns out to be the rebranded version of recently launched Redmi K30 4G. Yes, the source revealed that the alleged POCO X2 was been tested by Polish Colleague which arrived with MIUI firmware V126.96.36.199.QGHINXM = India & the Redmi K30 with V188.8.131.52.QGHCNXM = China.
So basically Xiaomi is planning to kill the Redmi K30 series in India with its sub-brand POCO. So we can now confirm that POCO F2 Lite might be the rebranded Redmi K30 5G and POCO F2 will be the completely different phone.
