After Samsung and Oppo introducing the circular hole cut-out for selfie camera now we have another brand joining the bandwagon with none other than Huawei. Earlier we got few renders of Oppo R19 which showed us the in-display selfie cameras. Today we have got the new patent filed by Huawei for the in-display earpiece.
As per the patent with USPTO, Huawei is all set to introduce the new earpiece cut-out on the upper portion of the display and not for the selfie camera. We saw other companies applying patents for the circular hole which is the selfie camera but Huawei is applying a patent for the in-display earpiece.
Huawei had filed the patent with USPTO in 2016 and has been published on the website on Nov 6, 2018. The hole on the display very thin and we couldn’t find the selfie cameras though so probably it might feature in-display hidden selfie camera which might be the next big thing the world of technology. On the rear, we have a Dual rear camera along with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below it. The 3.5 mm audio jack on the top and USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device.
