OnePlus earlier promised to get the new Android 9 Pie by November to OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5 & OnePlus 5T. Now we have a bad news coming directly from OnePlus CEO Pete Lau.
As per the post, Pete Lau states that the developers need some more time to work on the new Android 9 Pie update for OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5 & OnePlus 5T. Apart from that, nothing much about the Android 9 Pie update has been mentioned instead he started teasing the new features of OnePlus 6T which will now ship with the new Oxygen OS re-designed UI.
We are still not sure when exactly the Android 9 Pie update will be pushed to OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5 & OnePlus 5T. Hope OnePlus might start updating the devices by end of 2018.
