Xiaomi is all set to launch the successor to US exclusive Mi Box soon. The Original Mi Box was launched in 2017 at Google I/O which was made available in select countries like the US and was running on stock Android skin without any custom UI.
Now we have spotted the successor to the Mi Box Android TV streamer all its way as it receives FCC certification. The upcoming Mi Box was listed in FCC as MDZ-22-AB whereas the original Mi Box had model number MDZ-16-AB. The FCC leaks also add few images from user manual along with live images showing the Mi Box itself.
As per the leaked images, we can see the new Mi Box Android TV will have a similar design as the predecessor but with Mi branding now placed exactly at the center. The leaked images resemble the Mi Box 4 which was launched in China last month but the remote shown doesn’t seem to be for it as it comes with dedicated Netflix and Live button on the remote control.
