Huawei begins the new trend of triple cameras with the new flagship Huawei P20 Pro which is already on sale. Earlier we even had rumors of 2019 Apple iPhones might feature the triple rear cameras. Now we have the new rumors which claim that Samsung might even launch a triple camera smartphone by next year.
As per market analyst, Samsung is all set to bring a triple camera along with a 3D sensor to tackle the competition and lower sales of Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+. As per the rumors, the upcoming flagship with Samsung Galaxy S10 might feature triple camera when compared with iPhone X Plus which is also expected to have a triple camera setup.
“Samsung, which has a lower-than-expected demand for its latest Galaxy S9 lineup, will consider to equip its next premium phone with the triple cameras and a 3-D sensor to reinvigorate its smartphone business,” Kim Dong-won, an analyst from KB Securities.
With the introduction of triple cameras, we can expect better picture under low-lightings but can even be used to create 3D content along with AR applications. There are also rumors about Samsung Galaxy S10 might be the first Samsung smartphone to feature 3D facial recognition tech similar to iPhone X.
