Xiaomi Mi 8

Xiaomi is all set to unveil their next big flagship smartphone for 2018 with Mi 8 on 31 May in Shenzen, China. With just a few days left for the official announcement, we are getting some leaks and rumors about the upcoming Mi 8.

Earlier Xiaomi confirmed that the next flagship smartphone will be called Xiaomi Mi 8 on their Social Media account and today we have a new teaser showing the number 10 which confirms that Xiaomi will also launch the next iteration of MIUI with MIUI 10 along with Xiaomi Mi 8 on 31 May.

Sadly, there are no details leaked about the changes and new features on the MIUI 10 as of now and probably there will be no major changes in the UI but might come with some interesting new features instead.

Apart from that, we have now got the hands-on video of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 8 leaked online. As per the video, we can see that the Mi 8 has completely new design and looks like inspired by HTC Translucent design and comes with the translucent back which shows the internals of the device which shows of the Snapdragon chipset. It comes with Redmi Note 5 Pro styles Dual rear camera separated by Dual Tone Dual LED flash.

On the bottom of the device, we have the Mi branding. On the front, we have the wider notch probably having the 3D depth sensor along with earpiece and selfie camera and nearly bezel-less display. The power button is now Red in color along with Volume rockers above it which are located on the right of the device.

Apart from that, Xiaomi Mi 8 pricing was listed in some of the Chinese stores. Earlier we had few leaks which provided the info that Mi 8 to cost 2799 Yuan for the base version. Today Chinese offline market is already announced their pricing for the upcoming Mi 8 which will cost 2799 Yuan (Rs.30,000/-) in China and will be up on pre-orders starting from 31 May.
