In the much-awaited news, Amazon India has made ‘LIVE’ the ‘Notify Me’ page for OnePlus 6 which hints that the highly anticipated flagship killer phone will soon be in India. OnePlus has been exclusively selling its phones on Amazon India ever since its entry to India and the same will continue now as well.  The OnePlus is expected to be available sometime in the month of May 2018.

The ‘Notify Me’ page lets interested customers subscribe to alerts related to OnePlus 6. Customers will be notified via email when the launch date, sale date, and pricing is announced. Amazon will also be sending other details about live stream, launch offers and more.

One Plus has hinted that the OnePlus 6 will come with an edge-to-edge display along with a notch on top similar to the one on the iPhone X. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC, paired with an insane amount of 8GB of RAM and up to mammoth 256GB in terms of storage.

There have been other teasers from OnePlus which have hinted that the phone will come with a glass or ceramic back, gesture control support, water, and dust resistant capabilities which come with wireless charging capabilities. CEO Pete Lau has also shared camera samples shot on the OnePlus 6 dual cameras. The smartphone is also expected to come with wireless charging capabilities.

Select users getting the device

OnePlus is also giving select users a chance to try out the smartphone before anyone else, along with an opportunity to review it. OnePlus 6 is expected to run Android 8.1 out of the box.

The price still remains a matter of speculation but it is hoped that price isn’t going to be a huge difference from its predecessor as value pricing has been one of the biggest advantages of the OnePlus brand. For more news about the OnePlus 6, watch this space.
