Spotify the famous music streaming app in the US is all set to enter the Indian markets this year as per Spotify CEO Daniel Ek.After Amazon bringing their Amazon Prime Music service to India we have one more big competitor preparing to launch its service in India with Spotify.
With many Indian based companies launching their music streaming services we also have biggies like Amazon entering in the digital markets with their new streaming services now its time for popular music streaming service provider Spotify to make an entry in Indian markets.As per the interview by ET, Spotify CEO Daniel EK told that they are planning to launch their services in big countries like India, Africa and Russia soon.
With this, we can expect one more new music streaming service making its way to India with Spotify which has already taken the office space on lease in Mumbai in the month of Feb this year and has already hired Ex-Google Business Manager Akshat Harbola as the head of Spotify India.As of now, there are no details about when will the service go live.
