The next-gen memory chips made by Samsung with GDDR6 have now entered mass production.Soon we might see the latest standards of memory chips on the console, graphics card, servers etc.
The new Samsung GDDR6 chips are built on a 10nm process with a capacity of 16 gigabits.When compared with previous gen the newer GDDR6 chips are 35% lesser power consumption as it operates on 1.35V.
The new GDDR6 comes with 384 memory bus which can achieve 864Gbps bandwidth which has already beat the currently available high-end GPU’s.The new Samsung made GDDR6 will used for 8K Video rendering, VR and AI tasks.
