Razer finally unveils its much-awaited gaming smartphone with Razer Phone in the US yesterday.This is the first smartphone after acquiring Nextbit earlier this year.The Razer Phone is priced at $699 (Rs.45,500/-) in the US and is up for pre-order via Amazon and Razer Store in the US and is exclusively available via Three in Europe.The Razer Phone will start shipping from November 17 in both US and Europe. There are no details about Indian launch and availability.It is available in Black colour only.

After successful implementation in the world of PC gaming, Razer a well-known gaming brand has stepped into Mobile business with Razer Phone.The Razer Phone is completely inspired by Nextbit Robin design and comes with similar rectangular shape design.It is completely made out of aluminium CNC Chasis. It weighs 197 grams and is 8 mm thick.

At the front, we have the Dual Stereo speaker on top of the display which also doubles up as the earpiece and other below the display. There is also selfie camera and sensors above the display.There are thick bezels surrounding the display with black borders.At the left side, we have the circularly shaped Volume up and down button and Power button which doubles up as a fingerprint scanner with SIM Card tray on the right. There is USB Type-C port at the bottom of the device and sadly no 3.5 mm audio jack but will get a converter within the retail box.At the back, we have the Dual Camera setup with Dual Tone Dual LED flash aligned horizontally which are located at the top left corner of the device.There is Razer Branding below the camera module at the back of the device.The antenna bands are running across all four corners of the device.

The Razer Phone sports a 5.7 inches 2K IGZO LCD Ultra Motion display having a resolution of 1400*2560 pixels and comes with 120 Hz refresh rate, Wide Color Gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.The screen is pacing with adaptive refresh tech which syncs with GPU and displays to provide a lag free experience in view content at high refresh rates on your smartphone.

Razer Phone is powered by SD835 chip coupled with 8GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 2TB.It is having Dual camera setup at the back with one act as Wide angle lens is the 12MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, AF, and a 13MP zoom sensor with an aperture of f/2.6, AF and coupled with Dual Tone Dual LED flash beside it.The selfie camera is of 8MP with an aperture of f/2.0.

The connectivity option includes Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi, A-GPS, NFC and USB Type C port.The device is fueled with 4000 mAh battery with support for QC 4+ and runs Android 7.1.1 out of the box and might be updated to Android Oreo later.It is having Stock vanilla UI and comes with a lot of optimisation and even worked with many Gaming app developers to give out the best experience on the Razer Phone.It also comes with Dolby ATMOS support and is having 24-bit DAC.
