The day is finally arrived with Google launching its flagship smartphone for 2017 with Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.After series of leaks about the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, we finally have the two devices officially launched.The Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL is up for pre-orders starting from yesterday in the US and also in India and Google Pixel 2 will go on sale from Oct 17 whereas the Google Pixel 2XL will go on sale in mid-November.The Pixel 2 pricing starts from $649 (Rs.43,000/-) for base 64GB and $749 (Rs.49,000/-) for 128GB storage version whereas Google Pixel 2 XL is priced $849 (Rs.56,000/-) for the base 64GB storage version and $949 (Rs.62,000/-) for 128GB storage version in the US.Here are the detailed pricing information for other countries. As of now, there are no details for Indian pricing.

The launch offer includes free Google Home Mini bundled with every purchase of google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the US.Now the original Pixel and Pixel XL is getting a discount of $100 off on original pricing.In the US users can buy both SIM Locked and Unlocked smartphones.

Google launches the successor to last year original Google Pixel with Google Pixel 2 in the US.The Google Pixel 2 comes with similar design with metal and glass sandwiched back.The Google Pixel 2 is completely made out of Aluminium unibody with the hybrid coating.The Google Pixel 2 weighs 143 grams and is 7.8 mm thick.It will be available in three colours with Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue.
The Google Pixel 2 sports a 5 inches FHD 1920 x 1080p AMOLED display having an aspect ratio of 16:9 and is also protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also comes with always on display feature.The device is powered by SD835 chip coupled with 4GB RAM and comes in 64GB and 128GB onboard storage.
Google Pixel 2 is having the same 12.2MP single rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, 1.4-micron meter, Laser AF, Dual Pixel PDAF, Dual tone Dual LED flash and has support for both Optical Image stabilisation and Electronic Image Stabilisation.It can record videos up to 4K @30fps and 1080p @120fps.There is 8MP selfie camera with 1.4-micron meter, having an aperture of f/2.4, and Fixed focus. The selfie camera can shoot videos at the 1080p @30fps.The camera on the Google Pixel 2 is the having the DxO rating of 98 which is the highest rating for smartphone camera till date.Now the Google Camera app comes with support for Google Lens where you can click the picture and Google AI instantly searches the images online and gives you the details of the location or products or even scan and send the emails or save contact number to your contact book.
The connectivity option includes Single SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Dual-band Wifi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port for charging and Audio as there is no 3.5 mm audio port on both Pixel devices and rear fingerprint scanner below the camera module.The Pixel 2 comes with Dual stereo speakers on the front below the display and another top of the display which doubles up as an earpiece.It also has the IP67 rating which makes the Pixel 2 dust an water resistant.It also comes with squeeze feature which was last seen on HTC U11 with Edge Sense.All this is fueled by 2750 mAh battery and support for QC 3.0.The device runs on Android Oreo with latest security patches and Google has promised to give updates up to 3 years.

Google also launched the successor to Google Pixel XL with Google Pixel 2 XL yesterday.Now the Google Pixel 2 XL comes with the nearly bezel-less display at the front and looks similar to the Pixel 2 in terms of design.The Google Pixel 2 XL is completely made out of Aluminium unibody with the hybrid coating.The Google Pixel 2 weighs 175 grams and is slightly thicker when compared with Pixel 2 with 7.9 mm thick.It will be available in three colours with Just Black and Black&White.
