After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, now Samsung is busy preparing to unveil its latest flagship for next year with Samsung Galaxy S9.Recently, Sony announced the new Sony Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact which was having Sony’s new Motion Eye Sensor which had the capability to record Slow-mo videos @1000 fps and now Samsung is planning to bring the same feature with its own Camera module for upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9.

As per rumors, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 camera will have support for capturing Slow-mo videos @1000 fps similar to Sony latest devices with Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 compact.The Camera module is being developed by Samsung Opto-Electronics and will be commercialized by early 2018.We might see the new camera module on the upcoming Samsung flagship like Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy S9+, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as well as rumored Samsung Galaxy X foldable smartphone.
The Samsung made Camera sensor will have two layers of  DRAM module and they are rumored to start the mass-production of the sensors from November 2017.As Samsung Galaxy S9 will not be launched anytime earlier than March 2018, so Samsung is making all its parts ready so that the device will not get delayed and will be launched on time.
