Next month, Realme will launch its flagship GT 8 Pro in global markets. The GT 8 Pro was already announced in China alongside the vanilla GT 8, but it seems the Pro will be the only one to go global.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, Realme GT 8 Pro comes with a 7,000mAh battery and a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display (QHD+ 144Hz). With a 50MP primary camera, a 200MP periscope (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP ultrawide lens, this is the first Realme phone with a Ricoh-tuned camera system.
There is also a modular camera island bezel with user-replaceable modules and IP66, IP68, and IP69 ingress protection. Whether the international version will have the same specs as the Chinese version remains to be seen.
The Realme GT 8 Pro global launch will be announced as soon as more details are available.

Samsung recently released its Q3 financial results, offering a glimpse into what’s in store for its next flagship, the Galaxy S26 series, and the company’s plans for Galaxy devices.
Galaxy S26: Next-Gen AI, Custom Chips, and Performance Boosts
According to Daniel Araujo, VP of Samsung’s MX division, the forthcoming Galaxy S26 series is set to “redefine user experience” through next-generation, user-focused AI, a custom second-generation chipset, and improved performance, especially with new camera sensors. The chipset—referred to as the Application Processor (AP)—seems likely to debut as the Exynos 2600, which may be Samsung’s first to utilise 2nm manufacturing technology. There’s debate about whether this is the second generation, as some count the Galaxy Z Flip7’s Exynos 2500.
Qualcomm and Samsung are reportedly collaborating, with “for Galaxy” Snapdragon variants potentially produced in Samsung’s own foundries. This partnership could mean select markets get different chips. Current industry buzz says most S26 devices globally will feature the Exynos 2600, whereas regions like the US, China, and Japan may receive models powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. However, Araujo clarified that the final decision has not yet been made, as the selection process is still underway.
A New Era for Connectivity
Another notable update is the possible introduction of a new Exynos connectivity chip to handle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions—replacing Qualcomm’s FastConnect 7800, which was used in the S25 series. This shift echoes Apple’s recent move toward proprietary connectivity chips, a step aimed at greater control and potentially improved integration.
Samsung’s 2026 Vision: AI, Health & Foldables
Looking ahead to 2026, Samsung says it will double down on AI-powered features across its mobile lineup, enhance AI-based health tracking for smartwatches, and introduce new true wireless earbuds. Strengthening Samsung’s position in the competitive foldable smartphone market is also a top priority.

There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will run on Android 15 OS with Nothing OS 3.5 on top. The device also gets IP54 certified making it splashproof. The brand is also promising 3 years of major Android OS updates with 6 years of Security patches.
It also includes Essential Space, an AI-powered hub for notes, ideas, and inspirations that was introduced in the Nothing Phone (3a) series.
The Essential Key lets you capture and send content to Essential Space, record a voice note, and access all your saved content with a single tap.

We’ve been riding a wild ride in Samsung rumor land these past few weeks. Initially, Samsung was supposed to replace the Galaxy S26+ with the Galaxy S26 Edge, but it appears they reversed the process, cancelling the Edge and bringing back the S26+.
According to a new rumor, the S26 Edge has indeed been scrapped, but it will now be replaced by another phone. As the S25 Edge was codenamed Slim, a device codenamed More Slim is now allegedly in development.
The More Slim was developed later than the phone that’s thought to be the S26 Edge. It appears that Samsung changed its mind and scrapped that while working on another S26 Edge. The development began later, so it is likely to arrive later in the year, just like the S25 Edge, compared to the prominent S-series flagship family, which was recently delayed until March for S26+ development.
We expect the S26 Edge to be even thinner than its predecessor, which raises the question – was the S25 Edge not slim enough? Most people’s main complaints about it might be the battery life and camera, but Samsung apparently disagrees. To make the S26 Edge slim, we’re curious about what we’ll lose.
Bloomberg reports that Apple’s iPad Air and iPad mini lineups will receive major display upgrades soon. MacBook Air’s display is also being upgraded.
Reports indicate that the Cupertino giant is testing OLED displays for new iPad Air, mini, and MacBook Air products. In 2026, Apple plans to introduce the iPad mini with an OLED panel.
An OLED display would be a welcome upgrade for the iPad mini, but it’s expected to cost more. OLED models could cost up to $100 more than current models, according to the report. Water-resistance and an upgraded speaker system are also on the way for Apple’s iPad mini.
In the coming years, the iPad Air is also expected to adopt OLED technology, though the next iteration is expected to utilise an LCD panel. Apple is developing a new MacBook Air with an OLED display, but it’s unlikely to launch until 2028, according to sources.
