After pushing out the Android Oreo update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T in late Nov 2017 now OnePlus is pushing out the latest Oxygen OS 5.0.1 update which will bring some system improvements and fixes bugs.
The new Oxygen OS 5.0.1 on OnePlus 3 and 3T adds support for aptX HD, an adaptive mode for screen calibration, wifi hotspot device manager and general bugs and stability improvements.
The latest version of Oxygen OS also brings the Dec version of the Android security update.The latest Oxygen OS 5.0.1 OTA update will be pushed to more user in coming days and as of now, it is available for limited users.
Samsung upcoming flagship for 2018 is all set to launch in Feb or March 2018 and as days are getting near we are getting many leaks and rumours about the device. We have got a lot of renders leaked and today we have some more new renders leaked which shows up the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+.
As per leaked renders, we can see both front and rear side of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and only the front side of the Samsung Galaxy S9+in both the renders.Earlier Samsung Galaxy S9+ was rumoured to be having the Dual camera setup and but as per this leaks, there are no images showing the rear view of the device.
But we can confirm have the Samsung Galaxy S9 is having just a single rear camera as per the renders leaked.There is fingerprint scanner now been located below the rear camera.Now both the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+will have Dual selfie cameras which are placed above the display with earpiece between them.There is a thinner bezel below the display and nearly bezel-less display on both the sides of the device.
Recently we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ on FCC in the US and with that, we can expect it to be announced no earlier than March 2018.
Nokia 5 new camera app update reveals some of the upcoming Nokia 2018 series devices as per the leaks by NokiaMob.HMD Global owned Nokia has now silently updated the Nokia 5 Camera app on Android Oreo Beta update which has changed the app version from 8.0200.20 to 8.0210.20 with no major changes in the camera UI nor any new feature addition.
NokiaMob had dug into the latest version of Nokia 5 camera app which revealed some of the logos of the upcoming Nokia handset in 2018 which are still unannounced.Some of the unannounced devices include the Nokia 1, Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 9 and it also includes the launched products like Nokia 2, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8.
So Nokia is all set to introduce new devices with Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus which we don’t have any details leaked till date.We already have many leaks of Nokia 9 and even Nokia 1 which is rumoured to be the Android Go edition smartphone.
So with this, we have to wait for MWC 2018 as Nokia will unveil their new range of Nokia smartphone not earlier than Feb 28.
Huawei upcoming successor to this year launched Huawei P10 with Huawei P20 is all here. Earlier we had rumours of calling it as Huawei P11 and we even got some rumours and leaks claiming that it will have a design similar to iPhone X and will come with the notch.Later we had got the roadmap of all Huawei devices for 2018 which had mentioned the Huawei P20 series with Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 Pro and there was no mention of Huawei P11 in the list.
Now we have got new design renders leaked of the upcoming Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 Pro which was earlier rumoured as Huawei P11.The new design renders revealed the all the Huawei P20 series will have the triple camera at the back we also had some leaks which claim to produce 40 MP images with 5x optical zoom via the triple camera the back.
As per leaked renders, we can see the Huawei P20 is now having a triple camera which is aligned horizontally with LED flash beside it. At the front, we have the nearly bezel-less display with top and bottom bezels.The next device is the Huawei P20 Plus which is now having triple cameras which are aligned vertically with LED flash below it and placed on the top-left corner of the device. Both the devices have similar design at the front with above the display, we have the earpiece and selfie camera and bottom of the display we have the physical home button which doubles up as fingerprint scanner similar to one found on Honor V10.
The last device on the list is with Huawei P20 Pro which is having a triple camera which is also aligned vertically but is placed in the middle of the device with LED flash below it and fingerprint scanner below the LED flash.AT the front, we have a completely bezel-less display with notch above the display which includes earpiece and selfie camera and thick bottom bezels.
As per leaks, the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Plus devices will be powered by Huawei Kirin 970 SoC whereas the Huawei P20 Pro will be powered by latest Huawei Kirin 975 SoC.All the three devices will have 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Xiaomi finally fulfilled the promise of updating to latest Android Oreo to their first Android One smartphone with the Mi A1.Xiaomi had promised earlier that they will update Mi A1 to Android Oreo by end of 2017 and now Xiaomi is pushing out the stable version of Android Oreo update.

Nokia’s cheapest Android smartphone the Nokia 2 was launched on Oct and had gone on sale starting from last month.Now we have some good news for all Nokia 2 users, Nokia is planning to directly jump to Android 8.1 instead of Android 8.0.
As per a tweet by Nokia Cheif Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas shared that Nokia 2 will soon receive the much awaited Android 8.1 update which will make the first budget smartphone to receive the recently launched Android Oreo.
Apart from that, some Nokia Executive also revealed that the Nokia 2 Android 8.1 update will bring some of the Android Go OS features like the Android Memory management as it cannot be upgraded to Android Go program.
Oppo is all set to launch a new bezel-less smartphone next year as we have got some live images of the unknown Oppo smartphone leaked on Weibo.Unfortunately, the device has protected the case which prevents us to see the new design of the phone.
As per leaked live images, we can see that Oppo smartphone is now having a nearly bezel-less display with probably Dual camera setup with LED flash or the rumoured 3D facial recognition camera, earpiece and sensors above the display.There is nothing below the display.On the back, we have the Dual camera setup with LED flash with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below it.
The Volume up/down buttons are located on the left of the device and power button and SIM card tray on the right of the device.Sadly, there is no under display fingerprint tech on this device, but as per Synaptics Vivo will be launching the first under-display fingerprint scanner device and we can expect Oppo and OnePlus to follow the trend as they come under the same parent company.
Android Oreo launched in late Aug this year and now we are getting some news from Google who is busy working on the next iteration of Android with Android P. Earlier we had got leaks which suggested that Carrier networks will be able to hide the network signal strength on Android P.
Today Google Senior Vice president of Platform and Ecosystem Hiroshi Lockheimer was indulged in the discussion for the name suggestion of the upcoming Android P.As per Lockheimer, the next iteration of Android will be marketed as Android Peppermint Pocky. The name Android Peppermint was earlier suggested by popular YouTuber MKBHD.Always we do receive a lot of rumours about the name suggestion for next version of Android but at the end, the rumours turn out to be fake and the name will be something else so we can’t expect that Android P will ever be called the Android Peppermint.
As per earlier ASOP leaks suggested that Android P will have a new version number of Android 9.0 apart from Android KitKat which came with Android 4.4 version number instead of a whole number.We had many leaks about the Android P but we didn’t receive any major leaks about the features included on Android P.We can expect the Android P to be unveiled at Google I/O held on March 2018.
