A fresh OnePlus Nord 6 leak has given us our clearest look yet at the upcoming mid-ranger, this time in two colors and out in the wild.
Just a day after the Nord 6’s retail box surfaced online, the same tipster has now shared an image showing the phone in Silver and Mint. The device is pictured in someone’s hand, seemingly in a real-world setting rather than a studio shot, giving us a more natural look at its design.
From the photo, the Nord 6’s aesthetics align closely with recent OnePlus and Oppo phones, featuring familiar styling cues and a clean, modern camera layout.
Specs:
According to the source, the Nord 6 will feature a 50 MP main rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), using Sony’s Lytia 600 sensor. This will reportedly be joined by an 8 MP ultrawide camera, while the front will house a 32 MP selfie camera with autofocus.
What’s interesting is the camera sensor swap compared to its predecessor. The OnePlus Nord 5 relied on Sony’s Lytia 700 sensor for its primary camera, which sits higher in Sony’s lineup than the Lytia 600. On paper, that makes the Nord 5’s main camera a step above. The Nord 5 also offered a higher-resolution selfie camera at 50 MP, so the Nord 6’s 32 MP front shooter represents a downgrade in sheer megapixel count, even if processing and tuning could narrow the real-world gap.
Earlier leaks have already painted a fairly complete picture of the Nord 6’s core hardware. The phone is expected to ship with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, featuring a so-called “1.5K” resolution and an ultra-smooth 165 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s rumored to run on a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, most likely the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, placing it solidly in upper mid-range to near-flagship territory.
Memory and storage configurations reportedly include 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, paired with 256 GB of internal storage. Powering everything will reportedly be a massive 9,000 mAh battery, backed by 80 W wired charging – an unusually large capacity for a phone of this class, if the number holds up.
