Earlier this month, Samsung not only acknowledged a fresh Galaxy M17e variant but also formally introduced it in India. This new Galaxy M17e 5G model appears to mirror the Galaxy A07 5G, which debuted just last month, suggesting it is largely a rebranded version of that device.

Galaxy M17e:

The new Galaxy M17e 5G sports a 6.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display and Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It is powered by a Dimensity 6300 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

On the back, the Galaxy M17e 5G features dual rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED flash. There is also an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

This is packed with a larger 6000 mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. The new Galaxy M17e 5G runs on Android 16 with One UI 8 on top. The device also has a USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, A-GPS, GLONASS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. According to the company, the A06 5G will receive four major Android updates, reaching Android 20. The device also gets IP54 splash resistance this time. The phone is launching in Vibe Violet and Blitz Blue.
