Motorola has introduced two new mid-range smartphones, the Moto G17 Power and Moto G17, designed to deliver long-lasting battery life, capable cameras, and a practical feature set for everyday use. These phones target users who want dependable performance, strong imaging capabilities, and up-to-date software, all at an affordable price.

Moto G17 & Moto G17 Power:

The new Moto G17 & G17 Power will arrive with a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD at 60Hz. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Both will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC, coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for further expansion.

The Moto G17 & G17 Power feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP ultra-wide sensor. There is a 32MP selfie shooter. Both devices come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The connectivity options include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, FM Radio, Dual-SIM support, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB-C, and Bluetooth 5.4. The Moto G17 packs a 5200 mAh battery, while the Moto G17 Power has a 6000 mAh battery. Both will support 18W/30W fast charging. Moto G15 & G15 Power run on Android 15 OS out of the box. The Moto G17 & G17 Power will have an IP54-rated body, offering some level of water and dust resistance.

Pricing:

The Moto G17 Power and Moto G17 are set to debut in select EMEA regions. In the UK, the Moto G17 starts at £149.99 for the 4GB/128GB configuration, while in Germany the 8GB/128GB version is priced at €199.99. Motorola has not yet announced the price of the Moto G17 Power.
