Motorola has launched the Motorola Signature in India, its latest flagship smartphone in the new Signature series, as promised.

Motorola Signature:

The new Motorola Signature will feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K 10-bit POLED display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p and 10-bit colour support, and it supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device features an in-display fingerprint scanner and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top.

The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.

The Motorola Signature will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-828 (1/1.28″) primary sensor with OIS, coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a 122-degree FoV. There is another 50MP LYT-600 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom,  50x Hybrid zoom, Laser AF & LED flash. It is possible to record 4K video at 60 frames per second with all three cameras. There is a whopping 50MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The cameras have a laser autofocus system and a 3-in-1 sensor that assists with exposure, auto white balance, and flicker detection.

The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. This time, the device is also IP68/69 certified, making it dust- and water-resistant. UWB tags and phones with UWB capabilities provide accurate distance and angle measurements. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning and Dolby Head Tracking.

The phone comes with a 5200 mAh battery with 90W fast charge support. The device also supports 50W wireless & 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.

The new Moto Watch is built for people who want a balance of style, performance and wellness tracking. It debuts Motorola’s collaboration with Polar, a long-standing leader in sports and fitness technology, to deliver richer health insights.

The watch features a 47mm round face, a sand-blasted aluminium frame and a stainless steel crown for a timeless, versatile look that fits at the office, the gym or a night out. Motorola offers several band options, including stainless steel in matte black or matte silver, sporty silicone bands in PANTONE Volcanic Ash, PANTONE Parachute Purple and PANTONE Herbal Garden, and a leather-inspired band in PANTONE Mocha Mousse for a warmer, more elegant feel. The watch also supports standard 22mm third-party bands for further personalisation.

Durability comes from IP68 and 1 ATM water protection under controlled conditions, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to help resist scratches. On the health side, the Moto Watch tracks daily steps, sleep, stress, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels, and offers customizable goals and reminders.

Battery life can reach up to 13 days on a single charge, or up to 7 days with an always-on display, depending on usage and conditions. A quick five-minute top-up under optimal conditions can provide enough power for the day. With a built-in microphone and speaker, users can take calls from their wrist when paired with a compatible phone and active plan, and see notifications for messages and calendar events at a glance. On select Motorola devices, Moto AI integration enables Catch me up summaries, helping users quickly review what matters most.

Pricing:

The Motorola Signature is available at a starting price of Rs. 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 16GB + 512GB configuration is priced at Rs. 64,999, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB model costs Rs. 69,999.

The phone will go on sale from January 30th and can be purchased via Flipkart, motorola.in, and leading offline retail outlets across the country.

According to the company, the Motorola Signature is India’s first smartphone to offer round-the-clock, 24×7 exclusive privileges. These include tailored concierge-style support and always-on assistance spanning travel, dining, wellness, lifestyle services, and entry to select premium clubs.

As part of the launch promotions, buyers can avail a flat Rs. 5,000 discount when using HDFC or Axis Bank cards. There is also an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 5,000 on eligible devices, rising to Rs. 7,500 for select models. Customers can further spread their purchase cost with no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months.

Every buyer also receives a complimentary Signature Club membership valued at Rs. 20,000, free for the first year, along with benefits on first use worth up to Rs. 6,000. In addition, purchasers can get up to Rs. 5,000 off on a Moto Watch.

The package of benefits continues with a free six-month subscription to the Perplexity Pro plan. Users also receive free access to 10 premium OTT platforms for 6 months, valued at Rs. 15,000, when they recharge with the Jio prepaid plan priced at Rs. 1,199.
