iQOO expanded its global lineup last November with the international debut of the iQOO 15, led by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for markets like India. Now, the brand is preparing to add another member to the series. iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has confirmed on X that the iQOO 15R is “coming soon.”

Marya’s post is accompanied by a teaser image that gives us a clear first look at the iQOO 15R’s design. While the company is still tight‑lipped about the full spec sheet, iQOO told us via email that the 15R will deliver “power-packed performance with a perfect fit,” hinting at a performance‑focused yet ergonomic device.

From the styling alone, the iQOO 15R appears to closely mirror the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which went official in China just last week. This strongly suggests that the 15R could be a rebranded or slightly tweaked version tailored for international markets.

The iQOO Z11 Turbo itself is built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and features a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,260p resolution. Power comes from a sizable 7,600 mAh silicon–carbon (Si/C) battery, which supports 100W wired fast charging.

On the software side, the Z11 Turbo ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Camera hardware includes a 32MP selfie shooter on the front, while the back houses a dual-camera setup comprising a 200MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide unit.

Other notable features of the iQOO Z11 Turbo include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, support for reverse wired charging, and dust- and water-resistant protection with both IP68 and IP69 certifications.

If the iQOO 15R turns out to be a global spin on the Z11 Turbo, prospective buyers can expect a compact yet powerful handset with flagship-level performance and battery tech. We’ll have to wait for iQOO’s full announcement to confirm the exact specs, markets, and pricing.
