Motorola looks set to unveil its next flagship smartphone, the Motorola Signature, very soon. The company has been dropping hints about a launch event scheduled for January 6, and that’s widely expected to be when the Signature finally goes official.
We first saw the device in leaked renders last month. Now, a fresh promotional image has surfaced, and it includes an interesting detail: a stylus placed in front of the phone. That visual strongly suggests the Signature will support stylus input.
This doesn’t come out of nowhere. Back in early December, a report claimed that the then-rumoured Motorola Edge 70 Ultra would work with a stylus. It turns out the Signature is believed to be that same device, just rebranded with a new, more marketable name. The newly leaked promo image lines up well with those earlier rumors, lending further credibility to them.
As for specs, the Motorola Signature is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution, aiming to balance sharpness and efficiency. On the software front, it should ship with Android 16 right out of the box.
We’ll likely find out all the official details, including pricing and availability, at Motorola’s January 6 announcement.
