Motorola appears to be on a launch spree lately. Towards the end of October, the company introduced the Edge 70 to global markets as the international variant of the X70 Air. True to its name, the X70 Air line focuses on delivering an ultra-slim profile.

It’s a bit surprising that Motorola is leaning into the “Air” trend, especially after both Apple and Samsung reportedly saw underwhelming sales with their own ultra-thin models. Regardless, all indications now suggest that a Moto X70 Air Pro is on the way, expected to launch globally as the Edge 70 Pro.

Motorola has released an official teaser image for the X70 Air Pro, promising a device that will be “more Pro” and packed with even more AI features.

This upcoming model is most likely the same Motorola phone that appeared earlier in China’s 3C certification database under the model number XT2603-1. That listing revealed support for 90W fast charging—a clear upgrade over the 67W maximum supported by the standard X70 Air/Edge 70.

A Geekbench listing for the XT2603-1 from November adds more weight to the rumors. Alongside that, industry insiders claim the X70 Air Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 5 chipset. For now, though, we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm these details.

In parallel, another Motorola device—likely unrelated to the X70 Air Pro—has surfaced in teasers on Flipkart under the tentative name “Motorola Signature”. This phone is shaping up to be a more premium offering, potentially even the company’s next flagship. Rumoured specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 16GB of RAM, Android 16 out of the box, a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, and a 50MP rear camera setup.

We’ll learn more about both devices as Motorola moves closer to their official debuts, but for now, it looks like the company is preparing a strong lineup spanning both upper-midrange and flagship tiers.
