A few months ago, in October, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) shared details about a smaller, performance-focused OnePlus phone rumored to arrive in the first half of 2026. Now, the leaker is back with more specific information, this time naming the device as the OnePlus 15T.
According to DCS, the OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.3″ display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The panel will reportedly integrate a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, moving away from the more common optical in-display readers.
The phone’s frame is said to be made of metal, giving it a more premium in-hand feel. At the same time, power will come from a battery with a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh – a significant step up compared to what we usually see in compact performance devices.
On the back, the 15T is tipped to include a telephoto camera, suggesting that OnePlus isn’t planning to compromise heavily on imaging despite the smaller overall footprint. DCS also mentions that OnePlus is preparing a magnetic snap-on case for the phone, finished in white and gray, which will be sold as an official accessory.
The tipster further adds that the OnePlus 15T might stand alone in the company’s lineup as its only truly performance-oriented compact smartphone.
