OnePlus today unveiled the OnePlus 15R, along with a new Go tablet and a Lite smartwatch that offer value for money.

OnePlus Pad Go 2

It has a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a 2.4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to being TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light, the display also supports DC dimming.

There is also a Bedtime Mode, which reduces the amount of brain-stimulating light emitted by the device before bedtime, to help you sleep better. OnePlus claims the Pad Go’s 7:5 aspect ratio screen provides more space for books, games, and web pages than the original OnePlus Pad’s 16:10 screen. In addition, the screen-to-body ratio is 86.4% thanks to 7.5mm bezels on all sides of the display.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of storage. The tab features an 8MP selfie camera and an 8MP single rear camera. Video can be recorded at 1080p/30fps with both cameras, but the rear camera also has electronic image stabilisation.

The Pad Go 2 supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB-C. The device has 5G network connectivity and stylus support. It packs a 10500mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 runs on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on top.

Pricing:

On December 24, OnePlus.com and partner retailers will begin accepting pre-orders for the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 with 8GB+128GB Wifi only costs Rs. 26,999/-, whereas the 5G variant costs Rs. 32,999/-. Lastly, the 8GB+256GB LTE variant costs Rs.29,999/- in India.

OnePlus Watch Lite:

Although it has a lite moniker, the OnePlus Watch Lite has a premium build with a 316L stainless steel body measuring only 8.9mm thick. It is the thinnest OnePlus watch to date, thinner than most smartwatches. With fluoroelastomer straps, the case is available in Silver Steel or Black Steel.

With Sports Mode, the watch can display 3,000 nits on its 1.46″ OLED display. If your sport of choice involves water, the Aqua Touch feature can detect wet fingers.

The watch doesn’t run Wear OS; it uses a proprietary OS. This has some disadvantages, but it also has a significant advantage – the battery lasts up to 10 days. You can get 24 hours’ worth of juice in 10 minutes. Both Android and iOS phones can be paired with the watch. It can even connect to two Android devices simultaneously with dual pairing.

The OnePlus Watch Lite includes 100+ workout modes, including 12 “professional sports modes”. Among them are running, tennis, skipping rope, and badminton. In Badminton Mode, the swing speed, shot distribution, and stroke type are analyzed.

With the Running Mode, GPS tracking is accurate on both bands (L1/L5) and lactate thresholds are detected. Your heart rate can be broadcast to compatible gym equipment while you work out.

Health tracking and wellness modes are also available on the watch. An overview of your health is available for 60 seconds. During sleep, blood oxygen levels, breathing patterns, and heart rates are monitored. It is also important to consider the skin temperature. Insights into heart health include heart rate, resting heart rate, and SpO2 levels.

The OnePlus Watch Lite will also be available from December 24, like the tablet. For £30, you can get a charging base for the watch, which costs £180 / €180.
