Redmi has confirmed the launch date for the Redmi Note 15 5 G in India. The device’s landing page on Amazon states it will be announced on Jan. 6, 2026. This teaser gives a quick glimpse at the design and confirms the primary camera, setting the stage for what appears to be a major upgrade. The company will continue to share additional details in the coming days.

The first Redmi Note 15 teaser for India highlights its side profile, which indicates a slim frame in keeping with the brand’s Note series. A 108-megapixel main camera is also confirmed in the teaser, which is a notable improvement over its predecessor.

Despite the teaser’s focus on the silhouette and camera, it suggests a refined build, including a curved screen and possibly a metal frame.

Redmi Note 15 5G features a 6.77-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 10-bit colour depth & 3200 nits of peak brightness. The device features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC powers the Redmi Note 15 5G, paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB internal storage. On the rear, it features a 108MP primary sensor camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 20MP front camera.

It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Among its connectivity options are dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It is dust and splashproof with an IP65 rating. The device runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top.

Additionally, the device features a 5,520mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging.
