With the launch of the Realme P4 5G lineup in August, the company is already preparing to introduce the Realme P4x 5G. Flipkart has quietly launched a microsite for the device, suggesting that an announcement is imminent.
The teaser confirms 90fps gaming in GT Mode, as well as a punch-hole display and slim bezels. Multitasking is also promoted as a strength of the P4x 5G. Realme claims the phone can run 90 apps in the background without lagging.
The phone will also support 45W fast wired charging and bypass charging. During long gaming sessions, the latter reduces heat by drawing power directly from the charger instead of the battery. According to Realme, the P4x 5G will be the only phone in its segment with a vapour chamber cooling system.
Realme P4x:
The new Realme P4x 5G will sport a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD with 144Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC, with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It also has a microSD card slot.
The Realme P4x 5G will feature a 50MP primary sensor and a useless 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. An 8MP selfie shooter is placed under the waterdrop notch. The Realme P4x 5G will pack a 7000 mAh battery with 45W fast charge support. It will run on Android 16 OS with Realme UI 7.0 on top.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE/5G and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM Radio, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The device will also come with an IP69/IP68 rating, making it dust—and water-resistant.
