The Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max were launched last month, but there will apparently be a third member of the family next year. A new rumour claims it will be powered by a Dimensity 9 series chipset, possibly the upcoming Dimensity 9500+. The phone is likely to be called Redmi K90 Ultra.
In addition to the 6.8-inch LTPS OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, the phone is expected to feature rounded corners, a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the display, an excellent water-resistance rating, and a battery capacity of at least 8,000 mAh.
So far, these are all the details we know. According to these specs alone, the Ultra will have a higher refresh rate, a different SoC, and a larger battery. We’ll let you know if we discover any other differences between them.
