Recent certifications suggest that Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China by the end of this year. Several tipsters have been sharing information about the device in advance of its expected launch, especially highlighting its imaging capabilities. This leak once again emphasises the phone’s exceptional camera capabilities and upgraded optical setup.
Digital Chat Station reports that Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a large primary camera sensor with f/1.6 aperture, along with next-generation LOFIC technology for improved light handling and reduced glare. With an effective aperture of around f/4.5, the sensor should improve low-light performance and clarity.
The highlight will be a 200MP periscope telephoto lens capable of superior medium- and long-range zoom. As part of Xiaomi’s exclusive full-lens optical system, the periscope lens will reportedly offer advanced focusing capabilities.
Moreover, the smartphone is expected to feature a large, flat display and a circular camera design, refining its predecessor’s design while maintaining a premium appearance.
