The Redmi K90 Pro is expected to be unveiled in China soon, as its predecessor was released in November of last year. According to rumours, the K90 Pro may be rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra for international markets.

Poco F8 Ultra and Redmi K90 Pro will share the same 1/1.3″ type camera, which is likely to be the same sensor as the Xiaomi 17, which should have an aperture of f/1.7 and a focal length of 23mm, along with OIS, as well.

As opposed to the K80 Pro’s and Poco F7 Ultra’s 1/1.55″ type sensor, this would let in much more light. According to reports, the sensor is customised by OmniVision and branded with Xiaomi Light Fusion.

The telephoto camera will be of the periscope variety, reportedly using a 1/2.76″ sensor, which could be Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5. The K90 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra will feature 2.5x-3x optical zoom, which may even be a telephoto macro camera.

It could use OmniVision’s OV50M sensor with 50 MP resolution and 1/2.88″ size. A noticeable upgrade from the 32 MP ultrawide sensor used in the last generation.

If this pans out, the Redmi K90 Pro and the Poco F8 Ultra will boast significantly higher camera quality than their predecessors.
