The launch date of the Oppo Find X9 series in China has been formally announced. ColorOS 16, which will be revealed on October 15 at the 2025 Oppo Developers Conference, will power Oppo’s most recent flagship phones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.
On October 16, the Oppo Find X9 series will debut in China. Additionally, the company announced that the phones would include Oppo’s unique Trinity Engine technology and the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.
Oppo claims that the Find X9 series will come with huge batteries. While the Pro model will have a 7,500 mAh battery, the standard Find X9 will have a 7,025 mAh cell. Additionally, the phones will include a physical button specifically designed to activate AI functions. In the meantime, the official Oppo China web store is currently accepting pre-orders for the Find X9 Pro.
A day before the Find X9 series launches, ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16, will be shown. The newest OS is said to be significantly smoother than previous versions and will have new AI functions and a revised UI. The OnePlus 15, OnePlus Ace 6, and Oppo Pad 5 will all support the latest OS in addition to the Find X9 series.
According to a press statement from Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau, the Oppo Find X9 series will also be released worldwide.
