A few months ago, some Korean media outlets reported that Samsung’s debut XR headset—codenamed Project Moohan—would be released on September 29. Fast forward to now, and another report from South Korea is doubling down on that exact date for the launch.

According to the report, it’ll make its big reveal at a Galaxy Unpacked event on the 29th, with sales kicking off first in South Korea. Folks there can snag one starting October 13, with rollout to other countries coming down the line.

Pricing-wise, it’s pegged at somewhere between 2.5 million and 4 million KRW back home, which shakes out to roughly $1,790 to $2,865. That’s a steal compared to Apple’s Vision Pro, which retails for $3,499.

Additionally, Samsung is reportedly targeting shipments of around 100,000 units for 2025. Fingers crossed they hit that target—we’ll see how it plays out.
