The upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ from Xiaomi is anticipated to keep the same processor as its predecessor. This indicates that this year’s mid-range refresh will not include a performance upgrade as the brand is playing it safe.
This year’s Redmi Note lineup will not be upgraded by the Chinese tech giant, according to tipster PaperKing13. As with the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC (SM7635) may still be used in the top-end Redmi Note 15 Pro+ model. This is a little disappointing because the newer model does not offer any performance improvements, whereas some competitors are receiving more potent chipsets, such as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
The tipster did not disclose other specific information about the Note 15 Pro+. Thus, its different features, such as its camera, display, and battery, are still unknown to us. Nonetheless, PaperKing13 mentioned the processors for the remaining Redmi Note 15 models. While the Note 15 Pro 5G might have a MediaTek Dimensity processor, this suggests that the Note 15 5G might have an additional Qualcomm chip.
