We learned in May that the iQOO 15 would feature a 6.85-inch QHD+ Samsung flat LIPO OLED screen. Today, the same frequent Weibo leaker, Digital Chat Station, has returned with more information.
Unfortunately, the iQOO 13 gave up on the 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, which the iQOO 12 had (it only had a non-periscope 2x optical zoom telephoto).
Along with Vivo’s in-house independent display chip and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, the iQOO 15 also supports 100W wired charging. According to DCS, iQOO appears to be leaning toward adding wireless charging, though it is reportedly still debating whether to do so.
It was one of the few items missing from the iQOO 13 that would have made it a true flagship device, along with the periscope. Naturally, Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which is scheduled for official release in September, is anticipated to power the iQOO 15.
