According to reports, Oppo is preparing to add two new models to its K-series lineup under the “Turbo” brand. A recent leak claims that the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will go on sale in China in July.
According to Digital Chat Station, a trustworthy source, both phones will have a 6.8-inch LTPS flat screen with 1.5K resolution. They will also have the same camera hardware, which includes a 16MP front-facing camera and a 50MP + 2MP dual setup on the back.
The cooling strategy and chipset of the two models may vary. MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8450 is anticipated to power the standard Oppo K13 Turbo. On the other hand, the more expensive K13 Turbo Pro is expected to use Qualcomm’s sub-flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The Pro version is also likely to have an active cooling fan to maintain performance during extended periods of multitasking or gaming.
Both models will have three colour options. While the Turbo Pro replaces white with Knight Silver while retaining the other two colours, the K13 Turbo is reportedly offered in Knight White, Black Warrior, and First Purple. Larger-than-normal batteries are also anticipated for the phones, though the leak did not specify their precise capacities.
A different report disclosed more information about the Turbo Pro, including the fact that the cooling fan would be built right into the camera module. Recently, a purported hands-on photo of the K13 Turbo in its purple finish appeared online, showcasing its appearance.
