Retailers are preparing for the market release and posting some initial listings for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, which are reportedly just around the corner. However, Samsung has begun using codenames for its devices to stop leaks.

Sadly for Samsung, NieuweMobiel was still able to identify the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 on an Italian website, displaying the costs of the 256GB and 512GB Z Fold7 models as well as the 512GB Z Flip7 configuration.

According to the listings, the Galaxy Z Fold7, codenamed Q7, is expected to retail for €2,227 (Rs.2,23,300/-) in Italy and €2,309 (Rs.2,31,500/-) for the more robust 512GB model. A 22% Italian VAT is included in those prices, representing a significant increase of €200 (Rs.20,100/-) for both storage options.

The 512GB version of the Z Flip7, codenamed B7, costs  €1,425.51 (Rs.1,42,820/-).

We approach this information with a healthy dose of scepticism, even though it appears to be a reliable leak. Particularly for the Z Fold7, the price increases appear a little excessive.

However, if the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE price rumours are accurate, Samsung will probably defend the price increase by offering a less expensive foldable option this year.
