Xiaomi will launch a sequel to the first Redmi Pad, which was released three years ago, in the coming weeks. A teaser shows the device will be unveiled on June 5th, and the tagline ‘Built for More’ implies a large screen and a powerful battery.

Additionally, other teasers hint at a large battery and multimedia experience. The table would be lighter and more compact than a laptop, and stylus support is also present in the teaser image.

Redmi Pad 2’s global teaser shows the tablet in two colours: an 8MP rear camera, 3.5mm audio jack, and a confirmed 4G version. In addition to Mint Green and Grey, there is a Violet teaser for the standard Wi-Fi.

Upon launch, the Redmi Pad 2 will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Mi.com, and offline stores. We should know the exact details of the India launch later this week.

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad 2 has an 11.0-inch LCD panel that supports 2.5K resolution and offers a refresh rate of 90 Hertz. It has a brightness of 400 candelas and a 10-bit colour depth.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra, which is coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus, another with 5MP and a wide field of view of 105 degrees with FocusFrame technology on the front.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 has a 9000 mAh battery that should last for at least a day. The device supports 18W fast charging, but Xiaomi will offer a 22W fast charger in the retail box. The device weighs 445 grams and is 7.1 millimetres thick.
Four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers, a microSD slot, and a headphone jack play back the audio. The tablet version uses Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top.
