Samsung’s upcoming foldable Galaxy Z Fold7 was spotted on Geekbench, and key specs were revealed.

According to a newly surfaced Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. A benchmark of the foldable with model number SM-F966N revealed two central cores at 4.47 GHz, confirming an overclocked Snapdragon for Galaxy SoC.

This benchmarked device’s single-core and multi-core results are lower than those of the Galaxy S25 series, which the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor powers.

This is the Korean version of the upcoming foldable, indicated by an N at the end of the model code. Compared with the Galaxy Z Fold6, Samsung is expected to bring a slimmer profile, a better under-display camera, improved water and dust resistance, and even improved speakers.

Design:

From this angle, it isn’t easy to see anything about the new edge-to-edge display or the device’s reported impressive thinness, measuring just 3.9mm. It is also impossible to see the allegedly massively reduced inner display bezels.

There’s just a vertical triple-camera arrangement on the back. It could easily be a dummy unit or even one half of a unit, not a complete one. This is the first time the device has been seen in person. There is also no sign of the original Weibo source, which suggests the leak has at least some credibility.
